Positive: Very spacious and fit our family well. Price is almost unbeatable. TV has several included streaming services that are available between activities and as the kids wound down at night. Location is excellent and is 10-15 minutes from downtown. Beds are extremely comfortable. Fantastic coat storage area. Spacious fridge.
Negative: Cleanliness is less than average with some residue left on various surfaces in between visits. The cookware is in very rough shape and almost unusable. Several fixtures are in disrepair. Dishwasher was unusable while we were there but the sink had room for cleaning.

Positive: My children and I stayed at the Lilac Bungalow from December 8th, 2024 - December 14th, 2024, and were stunned upon our arrival. The home is nestled on a quiet and beautiful street in the west end of Kingston, Ontario. From the moment I opened the front door I was utterly amazed; the home was in PRESTINE condition, absolutely SPOTLESS, and full of all the necessary items such as cookware, small appliances (coffee maker, kettle, and microwave). The living room features a large flat screen TV with a beautiful electric fireplace directly below it, a large and comfortable sectional couch and two sitting chairs. The home also features a full laundry room in the basement with new and efficient machines, a large soaker tub and three drop dead gorgeous bedrooms! The location is fantastic; it is only a few minutes’ drive to the Cataraqui Town Centre, Wal-Mart, multiple grocery stores and Lemoines Point Conservation Area! The home has a large porch facing the street and there is a beautiful park with a playground almost directly across the street which was beyond ideal travelling with three young children! The home is spacious and has a luxurious feeling; like something from a magazine! The homeowner was truly a breath of fresh air. He was very helpful, friendly, responsive and extremely accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant. I can’t say enough positive things about this property – it is truly the place to stay if travelling to Kingston, Ontario!! The feeling of staying in a full home, instead of a single hotel room is truly amazing. We felt welcomed and at home the moment we arrived and that feeling continued for the entire duration of our stay! I will most certainly be staying here again, and I urge you to see it for yourself when looking for accommodations for your trip! Whether travelling for business or pleasure, a full family, or a single person, this is the place to be!!

Positive: Place is well located, 10 min to where we were going. Lovely neighborhood. Park nearby. Property impeccable with all we needed for our stay. Beds very comfortable and quiet place for a good sleep. Communication with the owner super easy. Would definitely stay again.
Negative: Almost nothing really. Suggest to put a sign for the shower water: hot and cold is reversed - not that it was an issue. A nice touch would be a hair dryer. Oh an provide liquid: bath soap, shampoo and conditioner
